Private healthcare website design

The client is an NHS Trust operating from Plymouth. The main goal for the Trust is to establish a private healthcare website that ties into their marketing strategy: advertising the convenience and comfort of private care service at the same time enjoying the high-quality facilities and expertise of a top-class teaching hospital. We were tasked to create a premium, minimalistic site that will promote ‘buy-in’ to their private health services to enable growth in the sector.

Architecture

The Information Architecture was defined after running experience workshops and card sorting exercises with multiple audience groups. The outcome of which would be a design specification that balanced design output between the needs of the end-users, internal users, and strategic requirements of the Trust.

“A website that meets all the needs and expectations of our audiences – putting them at the heart of every decision.” We developed a minimalistic, spacious design to achieve that elegant aesthetic. This was a key objective for setting the tone of their private health communications and marketing — allowing them to confidently signpost their audiences to this website. To bring moments of delight to the end-user, we embedded subtle animations that added movement and interest to their content.
