Housing provider website

This client is a social housing provider with over more than 7,200 properties in South West England. They conducted a brand refresh and the website was out of sync with all other mediums. This new identity needs continuity between all customer touchpoints, to evoke trust in the brand. We were tasked to deliver a wholesale reimagining of the website, looking at navigation, user journeys throughout the website.

Services included:

User interviews, stakeholder workshops, user journeys, wireframing, prototyping, design, *development

Architecture

The Information Architecture for the website was defined after running remote experience workshops and card sorting exercises with multiple audience groups. Users were often confronted with too many choices which resulted in a poor user experience and we worked closely with the client and their customers to simplify and improve the user journeys throughout — removing any dead ends by ensuring there is signposting to related content.

website design

Through appropriate use of their new brand identity, we developed a community feeling, component-based design so that pages can be arranged in a number of ways to serve both simple and complex functions. These components allow the website authors to be active when publishing news and announcement, or any changes to their audiences through the website.
